A lot of people find their teeth a big source of anxiety, which prevents them from feeling confident about their looks. Those who are unhappy with the alignment of their teeth often consider getting braces.
Over the recent years, the popularity of Invisalign in Belmont and other areas has risen astronomically. For people who want a straighter smile without having pronounced metal braces installed, opting for Invisalign in Belmont may be a good idea.
The Pros and Cons of Getting Invisalign in Belmont
Going through an orthodontic treatment is a big step for many people. If you are still unsure whether choosing Invisalign in Belmont is worth it, consider its upsides and downsides. Here are some factors to keep in mind and think over to help you decide if it’s the best option for you.
The Advantages of Invisalign in Belmont:
- Invisalign in Belmont Is Discreet
This type of braces is almost invisible and most people won’t even notice you are wearing them. It’s an especially important feature for adults who don’t want to look unprofessional with bulky metal braces on. Patients who wear Invisalign in Belmont can smile widely and go about their lives without feeling self-conscious about prominent braces.
- Invisalign in Belmont Is More Comfortable
Sure, there may be some discomfort in the beginning as your teeth are adjusting to the pressure of Invisalign in Belmont. However, you won’t have to worry about cutting your lips or scratching the insides of your mouth as Invisalign in Belmont has no brackets and wires.
- Invisalign in Belmont Is Removable
This aspect of Invisalign in Belmont makes it easier to keep clean than fixed braces. It allows you to brush and floss your teeth the way you used to, hassle-free. With Invisalign in Belmont, trapped food is also less likely.
- Invisalign in Belmont Requires Less Trips to the Dentist
Traditional braces require continual maintenance from the orthodontist, like changing wires, placing rubber bands, etc. None of those are needed with Invisalign in Belmont. When you start your treatment, you’ll also receive multiple aligners at once so you won’t have to go back frequently. No need for visits for adjustments, just appointments once in a while to check on your progress.
The Disadvantages of Invisalign in Belmont:
- Invisalign in Belmont Can Cost More
All types of braces are expensive. However, Invisalign in Belmont tends to cost more than traditional braces depending on the complexity of your case.
- Invisalign in Belmont Requires Self-Discipline
In order for Invisalign in Belmont to work, you need to strictly stick to the instructions of your treatment. Patients are required to wear their Invisalign in Belmont for 22 hours a day. They are only to be taken out for cleaning and eating and then put back on immediately.
- Invisalign in Belmont Is Not for Everyone
For people with severe bite issues or malocclusions, Invisalign in Belmont may not be the best option because they can only work to a certain degree of teeth misalignment. To see if you are a good candidate for Invisalign in Belmont, talk to a trained orthodontics professional.

State-of-the-Art Technology for Patients
Varallo Orthodontics believes that to provide the right solutions for every patient, we have to make sure that we have the power of technology on our side. Our practice is equipped with some of the best machines in the industry. Some of them include:
iTero Intraoral Scanner
We use this machine so our patients can avoid the uncomfortable experience of having their dental impressions taken. The advanced 3D imaging technology in the iTero Intraoral Scanner allows us to capture an accurate imprint of your teeth and bite and make adjustments. Afterward, we send the generated result to one of our partnering labs for faster construction of your braces.
Digital X-Ray Machine
For a clearer and more accurate x-ray of your teeth, we use a digital machine that uses significantly less radiation while still delivering crisp images. The generated result allows Dr. Varallo and the team to ensure that you get a better diagnosis and receive subsequent treatment.
Some patients hope to have their orthodontic treatment expedited as much as possible. AcceleDent allows us to speed up your teeth’s movement through cyclic forces while you’re biting on the vibrating mouthpiece for 20 minutes. With this device, your dental adjustment’s duration can be significantly reduced!
Braces have a reputation of being painful for patients. With the Damon System, however, we hope to provide our clients with a more comfortable option for their treatment. The memory-shape wires allow for quicker and gentler adjustment so you can have a better smile with less unpleasantness.
